PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT (ALGU GRĀMATVEDE/-IS)

Behalf on My HR client  we are looking for Payroll Accountant.

Fast growing and international company in technology production field in Marupe.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our client finance team. You will be responsible for salary calculations, salaries taxes calculations and project reporting, participate in financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, helping in budgeting, forecasting, salaries tax compliance, and salaries financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform correct salary calculation and payroll tax accounting, including project payroll accounting. Ensure accounting of advance reports.
  • Accounting for fixed assets.
  • Process incoming invoices and documents in the accounting system.
  • Carry out and process banking operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide regular financial forecasting updates.
  • Prepare financial and statistical reports and submit them to the relevant institutions within the specified deadlines.
  • In cooperation with auditors in the process of preparation and submission of annual reports.
  • Preparation of management reports & management consulting on salary tax issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, preferably – salaries calculation experience in company with more than 200 employees.
  • Knowledge of tax and labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with accounting software Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system will be a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent Latvian and good English skills.
