We are currently inviting a Production Manager to join the team, who will take responsibility for organizing daily production work, process efficiency, quality, and the management of the production team. We are looking for a hands-on and result-oriented manager with an understanding of wood and its processing, who wants to develop production together with the team and implement more efficient and well-thought-out work solutions.

It will be your responsibility to:

  • Plan, organize, and manage the wood window and door manufacturing processes in accordance with orders, priorities, and established deadlines, coordinating work at all production stages;
  • Ensure the fulfillment of the production plan, product quality, compliance with technology, labor discipline, and the efficient use of people, materials, and equipment;
  • Ensure the timely availability of materials, hardware, and double-glazed units, as well as efficient material flow and logistics in the workshop;
  • Analyze production efficiency, working time losses, equipment load and downtime, identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions to improve productivity and the production cycle;
  • Monitor and improve production processes by reducing defective products, material losses, and production costs while maintaining the specified quality;
  • Know production equipment, technologies and technical documentation, ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment, timely maintenance and technical inspections;
  • Ensure the tracking of completed work, collection and analysis of production data, establishment of work performance standards, and preparation of correct data for the calculation of remuneration, including piece-rate wages;
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the production team, as well as know and monitor compliance with occupational health and safety, fire safety, and internal regulations.

We expect from you:

  • Desired higher or secondary vocational education in engineering, woodworking, or a related field;
  • Experience in the manufacturing of wooden windows, doors, or furniture;
  • Practical experience working with wood and an understanding of its properties, processing, and manufacturing technologies;
  • Experience in planning and organizing manufacturing processes and team leadership;
  • Understanding of CNC, milling, pressing, sanding, painting, and other wood product manufacturing processes;
  • Ability to analyze production data, efficiency and costs, make data-driven decisions and implement process improvements; knowledge of LEAN methods will be an advantage;
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, and production schematics; knowledge of MS Office, ERP, AutoCAD, and other systems will be an advantage;
  • Latvian – excellent knowledge; knowledge of English and Russian is desirable;
  • Good leadership and organizational skills, a high sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, and result orientation.
